A four-month-old infant, Rohaan Sadiq, who underwent a heart surgery in India, is no more. The case had come to light after India's External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj had facilitated Indian visa for the family.
Rohaan's father, Kanwal Sadiq, took to Twitter to share the news of his baby's demise on Monday. Rohaan suffered from an acute heart problem -- he had a hole in his aorta.

The baby died a fortnight after he left India. 

When the boy's father Kamal Siddiqui wrote to Swaraj about the problems of the child and the difficulty in getting a medical visa, Swaraj promised him help. The visa was issued immediately. arrangements were made for the child to be admitted to Jaypee Hospital, Noida. The surgery was successfully completed in five hours.
The father expressed sorrow and thanked the Indian government for the efforts in saving their only son. "Despite all efforts, Rohaan passed away to a better place," he posted on Twitter.
